Kalhaidoo to investigate financial issues

Male’, MALDIVES – Kalhaidhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyyaa confirmed they are working on to solve their internal problems, mainly financial problems. The club heads now decided to dig deep to find out what happened and take necessary actions.

Kalhaidhoo ZJ’s president Shareef said speaking to maldivesoccer.com that they have mostly financial problems and added former manager Rauf is somehow to blame for the problems.

“We are having financial problems. We came to know that youth ministry and other parties have given money. Since Rauf has stepped down, we have asked him to send the financial reports and he has sent that. Looking at those reports we see some of that money hasn’t been utilized for club’s betterment” Shareef said.

Shareef confirmed club founders are ready to do everything under club statute to investigate the matter.

“We have seen something went wrong in the club, so the founders are agreed to do everything to find out what happened”

Shareef assured that Kalhaidhoo will compete in the competition and said they have met the players and are working on to solve the salary issue. He added except two, all other players are in Male’ and all are agreed to continue playing.

“All the players have agreed to continue playing. Except Nasir and (Huraa) Ablho, all the other players are in Male’. Even they (Nasir and Ablho) will join the club when we finalize a date to start the practices”

Shareef also said they had discussions with coach Mohamed Nizam and said he is still in a mood to work with the club.

According to Shareef, they are finding a way to finance the club and is hopeful on that.
